Within the Grove - Foyer and Entrance Decor Daydreams

I’ve dabbled in decorating our foyer/entrance to our home here and there.  I realized the other day this is a space we have slightly neglected.  We have a table that has been in the family for years that beautifully fit in the space upon moving in.  We quickly placed the table in the entrance of our home, gave each other a high five, and walked away as we decorated other areas of our home that didn’t even have a piece of furniture to sit on or enjoy.

In this Decor Daydreams edition today I’m sharing with you how I would decorate our foyer you see pictured above if I could magically snap my fingers and give it a face lift.  All in due time, right?  I hope you enjoy the pieces I picked out for this space as much as I do.  You can find all of the details below on each treasure. As always, I would love to hear/see your ideas for this space in your home.

Decorating your entrance or foyer with neutral and clean items.

1. Every time I see one of these metal shelving units in a store, I stop, stare, and debate on buying it.  I could never think of a space to place this wall decor but I knew I would eventually have to buy it.  I now know the perfect space!  Think keys, mail, a candle, and random odds and ends you need as you run out the door to place in this shelving unit.

2.  I love signs that make a statement.  Big, small, simple, and/or elegant.  I love them all!  This one of a kind, handmade, wooden sign by House of Belonging is perfect as you come and go from your home. Talk about instant motivation as you walk out the door to start your day!  Let it be something good.

3.  I went antiquing the other day and found an amazing olive bucket.  The price {$75} stopped me in my tracks.  I know it was an antique, but I also knew I could find it somewhere for a less expensive price. Magnolia Market saves the day again with their olive buckets.  I would love to place fresh greenery in these buckets as well!

4.  Greenery should be added anywhere and everywhere in your home.  And if you’re visiting my blog {Yay! Thank you!}, then I know you’re a fan of Fixer Upper.  You can find this gorgeous vase and Aspen Leaf Stems over on Magnolia Market.

5. I love coming home to soft lighting as we enter our home.  It’s a welcoming way to keep the lights on and provide stylish home decor at the same time.  I love this lamp and how it combines sea glass and a neutral colored shade for the perfect rustic and coastal look.

6.  Neutral baskets are the best for just about anything and they’re stylish when it comes to home decor.  West Elm’s baskets are great for blankets, magazines, shoes, or anything else you need to store in your foyer.  I love the idea of placing it at the bottom of this console table.

7.  Ryan has started building and experimenting with wood and cement.  I love the combo!  This console table can be found on Crate and Barrel or if you’re like us, try to build your own.  You’d be surprised what you can do when you try!
