I have this fascination with hexagons. So much that I stenciled one entire wall in my dining room with nothing but hexagons. 528 exactly if you must know and it was worth painting every single one! Since then I have been trying to think of ways to include all things hexagon throughout my home when it comes to my decor and decorating. I have seen these shelving units all over Pinterest, blogs, and IG. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but I wanted to think outside of the box. . or hexagon I should say when it comes to other hexagon decor items.
The Fancy Finds I’m sharing with you today are ways that you can incorporate hexagons into your space flawlessly. I can’t wait to get my hands on a few of these items and create a few myself!
1. I can’t get over these marble coasters that are made out of clay. Yes, clay! This is a DIY Marble Hexagon Coaster tutorial that I’ll be trying this weekend!
2. All I can envision now are these hexagon trellises on the back of my house where our soon to be grilling space will be created. I’ve had this thing with vines lately, but vines in hexagons? Hello!!
3. Can I just say I want everything in this picture? But what originally caught my attention was the DIY Hexagonal Table and the chairs to go with it. My husband and I have this great thing going: he cuts the pieces of wood for the furniture, we put it together, and I get to paint or stain it. Sounds like the perfect project for us and our breakfast nook!
4. I can’t even! This DIY Geometric Copper Planters tutorial involves 3 of my all time favorite elements to use in my home decor: indoor plants, copper, and hexagons. A few weeks back I even had a Fancy Find post all about copper. I have a feeling these will be popping up all around my home!
Have I convinced you yet to love hexagons as much as I do? I can’t help but squeal every time I see hexagons being used in a new way with home decor!
