We have a week left in October and I realized this morning I haven’t shared this month’s color of the month. I’m switching gears and showcasing a color by Sherwin-Williams. Within the past year, I’ve made a transition to their paint because of the amazing quality and color choices. Get ready for future front porch designs inspired by this paint brand! So to kick off the fall season finally arriving and Thanksgiving quickly approaching, this month I designed a front porch around the color Sierra Redwood. It’s a deep, rusty red color that screams all things fall. Think of apples, the rich hues of Indian corn, and the changing colors of leaves. See why I instantly fell in love with this color?

Instead of finding a front door in this color, I went with a double front door with a gorgeous stain with hints of red. I’m obsessed with a stained front door. The accents like the pillow, flowers, and house numbers are all in this Sierra Redwood color to bring it all together. And that doormat? You can find it November 5th as part of the Hearth and Hand with Magnolia at Target. And can we just stop and admire the front porch lighting that will hang front and center? Find all the details on each product used at the end of the post!

This month’s front porch design using Sierra Redwood by Sherwin-Williams will have anyone enjoying a cup of coffee or two every morning in this cozy spot. I’m thinking about adding a soft throw blanket to the design for those crisp mornings. What do you think? Do you like the boldness of Sierra Redwood to use on a front porch?
