Holiday Table with a mint twist - Within the Grove

I can’t believe this day is already here!  Today is day 1 of the Holiday Table Blog Hop 2016. I’m collaborating with an amazing group of ladies, hosted by One O, to bring you several weeks of holiday table inspiration. This amazing blog hop will take place every Sunday which starts today. Each table setting will be festive, original, and meant to inspire you and your holiday table decor!

Here are the talented bloggers that will craft something special for you.  You’ve got to check them out!

Chiara and Irene from One O

Holly Wade from Club Crafted

Jo Siddiqui from A Happy Blog

Today’s featured holiday table is by A Happy Blog. It’s such a unique and gorgeous holiday table setting for those that love a pop of color. I love how this table setting can also work for a winter party once the holidays have come and gone.

So, let me introduce Jo of A Happy Blog and her holiday table inspiration and details:

Holiday Table Blog Hop for Christmas - Within the Grove

I’m so excited to take part in a collaboration with 3 other amazing bloggers. The idea behind this Blog Hop organized by One O is simple. Each of us will post a holiday table designed by each blogger once a week leading up to the holidays. So you get 4 different styles to choose from for your holiday table inspiration.

First up is….ME, Jo here from A Happy Blog! For my table I decided to take you back a little, all the way to the 90’s. I call this design: Saved by the Bell meets Yo MTV Raps. Exercise minimal restraint here, think a little more Zack a little less AC Slater. Ladies and gents, I bring you….

A Ho Ho Ho-liday Yo!

For details on how to get this look:

|| The runner is wrapping paper from Sugar Paper for Target

|| The hologram trees are made using acrylic triangles glued to glass votives (try using holographic scrapbook paper triangles to recreate this look)

|| The chargers were made using gold floral wire mesh cut into a 13” square.

|| The charger plates are square white plates decorated with gold foil tape (don’t eat directly on the foil tape)

|| Everything else is your standard issue holiday decor spruced up with a can of mint green spray paint.
