Plant Nite // A New Kind of Workshop

If you follow along with me over on Instagram, you know that I recently attended BlogHer17 here in Orlando. I had the opportunity to listen to amazing speakers like Serena Williams and Chelsea Clinton, meet many inspirational people, attend sessions to help me to continue to grow this blog, and networked with amazing companies.

One of those companies happens to be Plant Nite. Does it sound familiar? Maybe you’ve heard of Paint Nite where you gather your best girlfriends, drink some delicious wine, and paint away at a local restaurant. This is the same company, same concept, but instead you’re working with plants to create an amazing tabletop garden. You guys, Plant Nite’s booth at BlogHer17 was enough to get me running. It was stunning with the abundance of greenery and plants surrounding it. So I knew it had to be something amazing.

Needless to say, I booked my own girl’s night with Plant Nite soon after the conference. Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint! I picked up my girl, Melissa, and we headed to a local restaurant in Orlando to create a terrarium, have some long overdue girl chat, and all while we cheered with a beverage of choice.

With around 40 people in attendance, we had our own section of the restaurant with the tables already set up. The hosts introduced themselves all while we took a hilarious pledge to do our best. You’ll have to attend one to hear it because it’s that good (and there’s a promo code at the end of the post just for you).

The supplies appeared in front of us almost magically throughout the workshop. This allowed Melissa and I to keep chatting away like two moms that haven’t gotten out in awhile. We were guided with each step, help was given, and laughs were heard all around. Before I knew it, I had a terrarium full of gorgeous succulents.

This workshop was SO good. I was thrilled that I was heading home with plants that would instantly become a part of my home decor. Not to mention succulents are almost impossible to kill. Hello!

It’s time to unplug, socialize, and enjoy a cocktail as you create a one of a kind terrarium with your favorite people.
