I get excited every time I share a new front porch design with all of you. I also want to change my front door color and design every month. Who’s with me? November isn’t any different especially since we’re using Repose Gray by Sherwin-Williams as our inspiration. This front porch design is also inspired by decorating for the holidays that will also transition smoothly into the winter season.

The front door is painted in Repose Gray and the neutral colors of the decor brings it all together. It’s eye catching but not overly dramatic. The doormat is layered with a rug for a fun design element which also matches the pillow. Buffalo check is a staple pattern to the holiday and winter season. The miniature trees can be adorned with ornaments for the holidays and without ornaments for the winter season. The house numbers are distressed wooden signs while the sconce lighting provides warmth and a great overall design. Lastly, we all love a classic rocking chair to enjoy a cup of coffee or hot cocoa in. Information on each of these items can be found at the end of the post.

This month’s front porch design using Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams certainly is a classic and beautiful look for just about any home. If anything, I’ll start with the double doormat look to start the transition! What’s you favorite part about this front porch design?

Hi Elizabeth! First time on your blog and think the grey front door idea is great! When you paint your door every month do you sand it before to get old colors off? I keep imagining those youtube videos with 100 layers of nail polish but a door version. Keep up the great work, look forward to seeing the finished project.
