Our dining room is one of my favorite spaces in our home. It’s where we eat together as a family, enjoy holidays, and have competitive game nights. I love our stenciled wall and darker farmhouse table, but I’ve been crushing on bright and neutral farmhouse dining rooms lately. There’s something dreamy and inviting about a white space with pops of light gray, natural wood, and greenery throughout. I’ve gathered my top 5 favorite dining rooms that are each unique in their own way with great farmhouse style. If it’s in our current home or our future home, I have a feeling I’ll slowly switch my dining room to this design style.
Rooms for Rent’s farmhouse dining room shows great design, comfort, and a place where a family would love to spend time. The wicker chairs are beautiful in this space. It’s a design element I’ve never seen before in a dining room. For an added bonus, there’s even a chalkboard door to change with the seasons.
Shiplap walls, wooden shutters, and a simple farmhouse table can all be found in Katie Nisbett’s dining room. Meanwhile, it’s the chandelier that’s an unexpected glamorous piece that works beautifully in this space that caught my eye. Everything from the decor to the furniture helps create this farmhouse look.
This chandelier is certainly a popular one to place in farmhouse style dining rooms. I love the miniature bunting that Maison de Pax has hanging from hers to help change it up a bit. But that’s not the only thing! In addition to the overall style of this space, the furniture used has me smitten! There’s a beautiful collection of vintage furniture and decor that’s been re-done or brought to life to match the style of this dining room. I don’t know what I love more: the china cabinet, vintage bench, or the dining room table.
Liz Marie has a magical touch when it comes to farmhouse design. She naturally designs rooms to create a beautiful farmhouse style no matter how small or large the space is. The dining room pictured below is an example of that. In addition to the slip covers and pillows in the chairs that add a delicate touch, the rug also adds texture to the space. As a result, this is a farmhouse dining room that makes you feel comfortable and wanting to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sunlight.
Finally, with a mixture of brick and shiplap walls, Little Red Brick House shows us how to style a farmhouse dining room with just a few style elements with big results. The round dining room table works perfectly for this space and was even built by the blogger. Jaw dropping, right!? Then there’s the industrial chandelier that looks amazing with the brick walls as the backdrop.
I would love to take a few furniture pieces and design ideas from each of these dining rooms to place in my own. Anyone in need of a farmhouse dining room makeover? I want to come help and bring the inspiration of my top 5 farmhouse dining rooms with me! Until then, I have some convincing to do with Ryan to eventually flip our dining room. Do you think he’ll go for it after seeing these dining rooms? We shall see! Thanks for joining me on my blog! Hopefully you’re feeling inspired to add some farmhouse touches to your own dining room space.
