There’s something refreshing about stepping into a home with a beautiful entrance or foyer. An amazing entrance welcomes family, friends, and guests that automatically makes them feel at home. Plus, as the homeowner or resident, it makes you think there’s no place like home as soon as you walk in.
I eventually want to makeover the entrance of our home and add some farmhouse details and decor. These Top 5 Farmhouse Home Entrances have me mesmerized. I want to take an idea from each one to combine into my own space. Have you been wondering what to do to your home entrance or foyer? Check out my top 5 favorites below!
Anything that allows natural light to shine even more is a winner in my home decor book. This entrance by Nina Hendrick is dreamy with all of the light pouring in. The neutral home decor blends perfectly with the beautiful space while creating a relaxing atmosphere. I’ve got to get my hands on a sign like this one!
One can never go wrong with more storage! This home entrance design by Shanty 2 Chic provides a space for large baskets where one can easily hide shoes, umbrellas, and anything else to place out of the way. The succulents provide a pop of greenery and they’re a great indoor plant! The lamps are also a statement piece where they are clear yet make a beautiful design piece. Need to move the table for a party or for cleaning? No problem, it has wheels!
There are some homes that don’t have a lot of room to create a farmhouse inspired entrance. Jenna Sue Design didn’t let that stop her. She created a beautiful entrance makeover for a small space. You’ve got to go see her before and after. I love the simplicity of the floating shelf, the wreath that she has added to the inside of the door, and the mirror that was added to make the space seem bigger. Also, placing planks on the wall helps define a space in a rustic, yet subtle, way.
This home decor design by The Glam Farmhouse is actually in her kitchen. But can’t you see this in a foyer or entrance? It would make for an amazing statement piece with wonderful design as soon as you and your guests walk into the home. The magnolia wreath would be my first purchase.
Finally, there’s something about this entrance that screams classic farmhouse style. The glass bottles, fresh flowers, and natural wood colors all have me swooning. Kindred Vintage & Co. certainly knows how to pair classic, neutral, and farmhouse pieces to come together flawlessly. I just need my own cut flower garden to have an abundance of flowers like these! This would be for a large space but oh my would it be amazing.
Now I know exactly what items to look for when I go shopping at my favorite stores and thrift shops. This would absolutely be a fun area of the house to transform slowly over time. Which farmhouse entrance, if any, would work best in your home if you had to choose? Like I said before, I’ll probably take a few ideas from each space featured today.
