There’s something about taking an unloved piece of furniture and bringing it back to life. Last weekend I headed to Trader Mae’s to set up shop with a few of the pieces I’ve flipped the past couple of weeks. One of those pieces was the green desk which also happened to be my favorite. This was the desk where you got to pick the color. As my biggest (and best) fans, you voted either emerald green or a rich navy. Since navy didn’t come out the winner, I thought I would share with you how gorgeous this color can be! Don’t get me wrong, I love the desk green, but there’s also something amazing about furniture painted navy. Here are my top 5 navy furniture pieces that will have you flipping a piece of your own in no time with this color!
1. Finn and Bo
Finn and Bo is my latest Instagram find that’s giving me all the heart eyes when it comes to refinished furniture. Especially this adorable cabinet she painted Coastal Blue by General Finishes.
I love the different approach Emily Michelle Interiors took with her buffet. By painting it this gorgeous navy color, it will stand out right away in any room. Those legs and gold knobs complete the look!
I love this piece so much by Saw Nail and Paint that it inspired me to create my own navy and stained dresser. There’s something about this rich navy color mixing with a deep stain that creates a classic look.
First off, can we talk about the adorable name of this furniture flipper? Talk about giving me the bee’s knees. This dresser would look great in a bedroom, foyer, or pretty much anywhere! With the stained top, it helps create a timeless look.
A Ray of Sunlight Design took a bold approach to using navy on furniture. When used within home design, these side tables would work great as the pop of color in a neutral colored room. They would certainly be a conversation starter!
If you could get your hands on a piece of furniture to flip, would you paint it navy? I would love to hear your color choice! So many of you voted for me to paint my desk green but there were still a lot of votes for navy. I’ll leave you with the dresser I flipped with a gorgeous navy color and stained drawers. It went to an amazing home today!
Let’s keep in touch!
