Front Porch Color of the Month: Mariner

This past weekend we spent every minute we could working outside. Anything from our getting our cut flower garden ready to cleaning out the garage and even having a picnic lunch. This time of year in Florida is pretty much perfection with it not getting above 80. Although spring hasn’t even officially started, I couldn’t help but create a spring/summer front porch design this month with so many of us wishing the snow and cold weather away. And I’m SO glad that I did! This month I choose a door that closely resembles Mariner by Sherwin Williams. I’m kinda, sorta wanting a turquoise blue door now.

It’s a gorgeous turquoise blue that instantly brightens a front porch and screams spring (or summer). Pair it with bright white trim and a light gray house color, and your home will be the talk of the neighborhood. If I saw this front door in my neighborhood, I would have no shame knocking on the door just to ask for the paint color. Who else wants to welcome spring and summer with such a vibrant front porch as this one? Here’s where you can find all of the products used in this design and/or more information on the items.

So, I’d love to know. Would you like a bright or bold front door color? I wish I could paint my door with each changing season. But for now I’ll keep living through these monthly front porch designs inspired by a different color every month. Tell me in the comments below the color you picked out for your front door!

Let’s keep in touch!
