Say Hello to Fresh Flower Friday

When I started this blog almost 2 years ago, I created it for my love of decorating our first home. This is where I share my passions, diy projects, and to virtually welcome you into our home. Throughout this time of sharing my heart’s desires to all of you, I’ve also discovered a little more about myself. I’ve always shown you how Ryan and I tackle all of our home projects (that’s not going to stop). How we decorate, the projects we want to complete, and our confidence has changed all for the better within the past two years. With that said, I’ve come to realize my blog has brought out another part of me: my love for fresh flowers and gardening. It’s evident just in my Instagram posts alone:

Every Friday here on Within the Grove, I’ll be discussing all things flowers through a series titled: Fresh Flower Friday. I already have a few weeks planned out. You’ll be hooked, I promise. I’ll be sharing local floral workshops, where you can find fresh flowers, how to create centerpieces and garlands, my go to books for gardening, how to incorporate flowers in home decor, and so much more!

My flower obsession has even prompted me to start planning my very first cut flower garden. Hopefully a year from now you’ll be joining me on my tour of my flower garden as I create fresh bouquets. Better yet, why don’t you plan a visit to come cut a few fresh flowers yourself. Another goal for 2017? Offering you a eucalyptus garland workshop that will be perfect for the holiday season!  See, so many exciting things!

So, here we go on this amazing journey of all things flowers! My challenge for you this year is to find a way to incorporate more flowers into your lifestyle. Check back here every Friday for all of the inspiration that you need. You’ll also find a weekly Fresh Flower Friday post on Instagram to help brighten your week and to motivate you to make life a little brighter.  Fridays just got a little sweeter.

Let’s keep in touch!

We have a brand new community over on Facebook, House & Home, where we’ll be chatting, sharing, and helping one another when it comes to home decor and projects. Come join us! Check it out here.
